At North SEO, we want you to be confident in every purchase. This Refund and Return Policy is the single source of truth for all refunds, returns, and cancellations across our digital services and one-time products. It applies to every package sold on our website, on our store, and through any Stripe checkout link operated by North SEO.
1. General Policy & Buyer's Remorse
We accept refund and return requests for both defective/non-delivery of services and non-defective reasons (e.g., buyer's remorse), within the time frame below.
2. Refund Window
You have 30 days from the date of purchase or service activation to request a return, refund, or service cancellation, except where a service-specific term in Section 3 applies.
3. Service-Specific Terms
Monthly retainers
Applies to: Local SEO – Starter, Local SEO – Growth, GBP Management, Google Ads Management, Link Building Package.
- Month-to-month, no lock-in contract. You may cancel at any time by emailing info@northseo.ca.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month — you keep access to deliverables already paid for.
- The 30-day refund window applies to your first invoice. Subsequent monthly invoices are non-refundable once the new month begins, but you may cancel any future month at any time.
- For Google Ads Management, the management fee is refundable per the rules above; ad spend paid directly to Google is governed by Google's own refund terms.
One-time services
Applies to: SEO Audit, Digital Marketing Strategy, GBP Optimisation, GBP Setup, OpenClaw Setup.
- 30-day refund window from the date of purchase.
- If the deliverable has already been sent (e.g., the audit PDF or strategy document), refunds may be reduced on a pro-rata basis to reflect work completed.
GBP Reinstatement — Success-only refund
- If we are unable to reinstate your Google Business Profile within 60 days of submitting the appeal, you receive a 100% refund, no questions asked.
- This success-only term replaces the standard 30-day window for this service only.
- Excluded from the success-only refund: cases where Google has confirmed a policy violation by the customer, where the customer fails to provide required documentation (utility bill, business licence, video verification) within a reasonable time, or where the customer requests withdrawal of the appeal.
4. Product Condition
For digital services, the refund policy applies regardless of whether the service is new (unused/unstarted) or partially delivered, provided the request is made within the applicable window.
5. Exchanges
We do not accept exchanges for our digital services and products. If you wish to switch to a different service, please request a refund (if eligible under this policy) and purchase the new service separately.
6. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation
All refund and cancellation requests must be initiated by email to info@northseo.ca. Please include:
- The email address used at checkout
- The Stripe receipt number or order ID
- The reason for your request (optional but helpful)
Because we deliver digital services, no physical return label or shipment is required. Sending the cancellation/return email is the customer's responsibility.
7. Restocking Fee
There is no restocking fee or cancellation penalty.
8. Refund Processing Time
Once your refund is approved, it takes 5 to 10 business days for the funds to appear on your original payment method, depending on your bank or card issuer. Refunds are issued through Stripe to the same card or account used at purchase.
