My name is Serhii Dovzhenko, and I'm the founder of North SEO. I moved to Vancouver in 2024 from Ukraine because of the war. When I arrived, I found a community filled with kindness and support - and it changed my life.
Over the last two years we have gained a lot of local clients - contractors, clinics, trades and shops across Metro Vancouver - and earned the right to call ourselves solid professionals for local businesses. Google Business Profile, local rankings, reviews: this is the work we do every day.
North SEO was born from a desire to give back. By helping local businesses grow their online presence, we strengthen the community that welcomed me with open arms.
Most of our talented team still works remotely from different regions of Ukraine, bringing a global mindset and tireless dedication to every project.

We regularly give free, no-strings advice to local businesses on the small things that make a big difference - for example, walking Urban Chiropractic & Wellness through their Google Business Profile optimization. Early-stage founders also get our time on business development, not just SEO.
When we notice a shop, clinic or restaurant we visit doing something that could get them penalized by Google - or on the wrong side of local rules - we tell them, quietly and for free. A healthy local business community is good for everyone.
