VeryDveri is a door manufacturer in Ukraine selling through its own website - a manufacturer, not a reseller, which is an advantage in search if the site shows it. The site was in the middle of a domain migration from .com.ua to .ua, had no keyword base, weak or missing meta tags, a search index full of duplicate pages, and little content. The engagement came with a clear measurement: organic traffic before and after.
A domain migration in progress is a dangerous moment to start SEO; done wrong it halves the traffic before any optimization can help.
The semantic core was collected first, around door types, materials, styles, manufacturing terms and the buyer questions - what distinguishes a manufacturer's doors from imported ones, custom sizes, installation, warranty. Technical analysis of the site established the state of the migration and the index. The domain move from .com.ua to .ua was completed properly, with page-level redirects and Search Console configured for the change so the old domain's rankings transferred rather than vanished.
Meta tags were written across the site around the keyword groups. The search results were cleaned: duplicate pages were deleted, merged or canonicalized so the index contained one version of each page, and junk pages were removed. Content was published for the categories and key products - the manufacturer's story, the materials and processes, the range - so the pages had substance to rank with. The work was ongoing at the time of writing and the site continued to be developed afterwards.
Each step was tracked against organic traffic so the migration's effect and the optimization's effect could be seen separately.
Within two months, organic traffic had increased by 100% - through a domain migration that could easily have cut it in half. The clean index, the metadata and the new content did the rest.
Duplicate clean-up on a manufacturer's site usually traces to one cause: the CMS generating several URLs for the same door - with and without trailing slashes, with parameters, under multiple categories. We inventoried every URL Google had indexed, grouped the duplicates, chose the canonical version of each, redirected or canonicalized the rest and removed the junk from the index. Combined with the migration redirects, that gave Google a clean, single map of the site on the new domain - which is why traffic rose through a period when most sites would have lost ground.
Manufacturers in BC selling direct - doors, windows, cabinets, furniture - have a story that resellers cannot tell, and search rewards it when the site is technically sound. North SEO handles domain migrations without losing traffic and builds the content that lets a manufacturer rank ahead of the stores that sell its products.
