Pigulka Plus (pigulka-plus.com) is an online pharmacy in Ukraine - a YMYL e-commerce site where Google demands accurate, expert content and where the catalogue runs to thousands of medicines. Ranking a pharmacy is a content problem at scale: every medicine is a query, every symptom is a query, and the sites that win have deep, trustworthy information on all of them. The client also wanted its YouTube presence to support the site.
The engagement was a large single-month programme with a substantial content component, scoped to deliver both the SEO foundation and a first wave of informational content.
We prepared detailed SEO recommendations and terms of reference for the site - analysing technical, content and structural aspects and specifying the changes for programmers, designers and project managers. Competitor analysis examined the main pharmacy sites' strategies and weaknesses to find where Pigulka Plus could compete. Analytics settings were reviewed and adjusted so key metrics were tracked accurately, and SEO terms of reference were written for the content writers covering key topics, structure and keywords.
Authority work included an order for twenty crowd links from relevant sources and a budget for four article links on authoritative platforms.
The YouTube track ran in parallel: keyword research for four videos reflecting the site's themes, channel optimization - organizing videos, adding descriptions, using keywords for search visibility - competitor analysis on YouTube to learn from successful practices, and forty crowd links for the videos. The largest deliverable was content: one hundred unique articles on medicines, each written to inform rather than sell, giving the site a base of valuable informational pages that a pharmacy needs to be seen as authoritative.
In one month the pharmacy gained a specified fix list, a competitor map, accurate analytics, a growing link profile, an optimized YouTube channel and one hundred new informational articles - a substantial step in visibility for a YMYL store that had been competing on product pages alone.
The hundred articles were the heart of the month and were produced to a standard rather than a word count. Each covered one medicine: what it is for, dosage forms and strengths, how it is taken, contraindications, interactions and common questions - structured consistently so readers and search engines could rely on the format, and written to inform rather than to push a purchase. For a pharmacy, that informational layer does two jobs: it captures the enormous search demand around medicine names and symptoms, and it demonstrates the expertise Google expects from a YMYL site before it will rank its product pages.
Pharmacies, clinics and supplement stores in Canada face the same YMYL bar. North SEO's healthcare SEO work follows the same logic: authoritative informational content at scale, clean technical structure and links from sources a reviewer would trust.
