Organic SEO retainer (Foundation to Growth), 3-month foundation then month-to-month • Current North SEO pricing, see Buy Services
CRM Solutions (crmsolutions.ua) develops and implements CRM systems for businesses - a B2B service with long sales cycles, where the buyer researches thoroughly before making contact and where the search terms are specific: CRM implementation for a given industry, integration with particular tools, migration between platforms. The company's site described its services well but ranked for almost none of the queries that bring in that kind of buyer.
The engagement was scoped as a two-month programme to establish the SEO foundation and content pipeline, with a defined list of work in each month.
In month one we researched and collected ten to fifteen keyword groups that reflect the site's topic - implementation, customization, integration, migration, industry-specific CRM needs - and ran a detailed SEO audit that identified technical, content and structural issues. That audit became terms of reference for the programmers, designers and project manager. Competitor analysis examined the key competitors' strategies, advantages and disadvantages, and their link profiles were analysed to identify possible link sources. Analytics were verified and adjusted so key metrics were tracked accurately, and SEO terms of reference were developed for the content writers with guidelines matching the keywords and theme.
Crowd links were ordered within the budget and a separate budget allocated for article links on relevant business and technology resources.
Month two expanded the semantic core and created a plan for blog articles aimed at improving rankings - articles answering the questions a business asks before choosing a CRM, which is where B2B search demand concentrates. We searched for further SEO improvements in technical and content aspects and produced terms of reference for their implementation, tracked results and competitors, monitored analytics from an SEO perspective, wrote articles for external links, briefed the writers on new content, and continued ordering crowd and article links according to the budget.
Over two months the company gained a working SEO strategy: key content expanded around buyer questions, technical improvements specified and implemented, a monitored keyword set, and a link profile growing from relevant sources - the base for the longer organic campaign a B2B software company needs.
The blog plan was built around a simple observation from the keyword data: almost nobody searches for a CRM implementation company by name, but thousands search for the problems one solves - how to migrate from spreadsheets, how to connect a CRM to a phone system, which CRM suits a particular industry, what implementation costs. Each of those questions became an article brief with a defined structure, a clear answer and a natural path to the relevant service page. Written that way, the blog does the qualifying that a sales call would otherwise have to do, and the articles earn links from business publications that a service page never would.
Software and IT service companies in Vancouver sell to buyers who research for weeks. North SEO's B2B approach is the one used here: keyword groups built from implementation and integration questions, a blog that answers them, and authority from relevant business publications.
