A home appliance repair company in Odesa needed both a website and the search visibility to make it worthwhile. Appliance repair is a pure emergency-intent category: someone's washing machine is leaking and they search, call the first credible result and move on. There is no brand loyalty and little research, so being on page one for the right service-plus-city queries is the entire marketing strategy.
The company had no site to speak of. The project was structured as a build followed by an SEO programme, with the build done in a way that would not have to be undone for SEO later.
Month one was the website. We wrote a technical specification defining design, functionality and page structure - one page per appliance type and service, a clear pricing section, contact and booking paths - then laid out the pages in HTML according to it, made design edits with the client, added service descriptions and company information, and launched the site on hosting with the domain and all parameters configured.
The SEO programme began in month one as well. Together with the client we built the keyword set - ten to fifteen groups covering appliance types, symptoms and locations - ran an SEO audit of the new site with recommendations, and analysed competitors and their link profiles to understand what it would take to rank locally.
From the research we produced requirements for the developers, designer and managers to implement SEO improvements, and SEO briefs for copywriters so that every service page and blog post was written around the right queries. Crowd links were ordered to establish authority. In month two the keyword list was expanded by fifteen more groups, the blog content was improved, technical shortcomings identified and specified for correction, positions and competitor activity monitored continuously, articles written for external links and additional crowd links ordered.
The result was a functional, optimized website built specifically to rank for appliance-repair searches in its city, with the content, technical base and early authority to compete for the emergency queries that drive the business. Position tracking was in place from launch so the client could watch the target keywords climb.
The content plan was organized around how people describe the problem, not the service. Nobody searches 'appliance repair services'; they search 'washing machine won't drain' or 'fridge not cooling'. So the keyword groups were built from symptoms and appliance types, each service page answered a specific failure, and the blog covered the questions that precede a call - is it worth repairing, how much does it cost, how fast can someone come. Written that way, the same pages serve search intent and pre-qualify the caller, which the client noticed in the quality of enquiries.
Appliance repair, plumbing, locksmiths, HVAC - Vancouver's emergency trades live and die by the same searches. North SEO builds sites for these businesses with the SEO structure in place from day one, then runs the local programme on top.
